Congregation Council Trinity’s Congregation Council discusses and deliberates about the life of the congregation, making decisions regarding recommendations from the committees of the congregation and hearing reports from all areas of the life of Trinity. The Council meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. from September through May and at 7:30 p.m. from June through August. The Council begins every meeting with a time of Bible study and devotions to make sure that all conversation and deliberation is grounded in God’s Word and led by the Holy Spirit. Every Congregation Council meeting is open to all who wish to attend. The Congregation Council consists of eleven members, including a youth representative and the pastor. The ten lay members are elected to three-year terms at the annual congregational meeting. A council member can serve two consecutive terms.
